This service is for business customers only. Employers in the UK can check your criminal record no matter what role you apply for. This is called a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Is the police records check free in the UK?
No, the police records check is not free in the UK. The DBS fee for basic DBS is £23, standard DBS is £23 and enhanced DBS is £40. Umbrella bodies may charge some admin fee on top.
- A 21-year-old pushes someone and receives a caution from police for actual bodily harm, will they still have to disclose it?
