What is a Job board?
Conventionally, a job board is a physical board which displays new job roles. However, contemporary job boards are online portals that list new jobs positions and job vacancies. Job boards can post vacancies for many different industries, position levels, locations etc., or can post jobs pertaining to one specific field. In general, a few big organizations are the key dominant players of the job market.
Jobs board display open positions and relevant contact details for the positions. They can also include details for an application platform for facilitating the candidates to post their applications directly against listed jobs. In this case, the candidate details (application form, CV, etc.) are directly shared with the recruiting organization.
